Rajendra Academy for Teachers’ Education” founded by Sri Jayanta Kumar Chakrabarty in the year 2009 has been established with clear mission to pursue excellence in all fields of education and to adhere to the highest standard of academic rigour in all its work.

The college has been set up in beautiful natural environment covering an area of 18 acres at Gopalpur, Durgapur in West Bengal.The sprawling landscape and lush green campus with breath- taking scenic beauty provides a congenial ambience completely conducive to learning.

“Rajendra Academy for Teachers’ Education” has mushroomed tremendously and is gradually progressing towards attaining leadership position in North-East India which speaks volume about our enduring commitment, outstanding faculties and rich learning environment. The final aim is to provide extensive opportunities for teaching practices in top schools in and around Durgapur. Quality and excellence in the teacher education sector is one of the major objectives of our plans.
