Rajendra Academy for Teachers’ Education is NAAC accredited Teacher Training College. The College imparts various programmes from Diploma to Masters level in its lush green campus. Healthy living with healthy mind is the key policy of the College. It provides the facility of Canteen services with the provision of hygienically prepared vegetarian and non vegetarian foods. Subsidized mess facility for boys and girls hostel is also provided. Our Canteen provides the perfect ambience for students to unwind both individually as well as in groups. Special care has been taken to make sure that the students get hygienic & nutritious food. The canteen remains open throughout the day and has a variety of snacks, tea, coffee and other beverages to offer.

 Functioning of Canteen:  The College has a spacious canteen with the provision of dining facility for 300 persons at a time. A Canteen Committee is constituted by the College Management in order to see that canteen is managed properly with quality based food and beverages. The functions are as follows.

  • To implement the necessary measures for sensitizing the students on the ill effects of junk food.
  • To provide nutritious, safe and hygienic food in the campus.
  • To provide food which is in consistent with the Indian dietary guidelines?
  • To provide refreshment facilities to college staff, volunteers and college students.
  • To create awareness about food safety.
  • To ensure proper supply of qualitative food along with housekeeping services on daily basis.
  • To reduce unnecessary wastage of food.
