RESEARCH CELL

Rajendra Academy for Teachers’ Education is NAAC accredited composite Teacher Training College with the objective of knowledge expansion, attitude and skill building through various courses for the prospective teachers. The College believes that the search for true knowledge is incomplete without rigorous research work. Research is the backbone of Education.

The Research Cell of Rajendra Academy for Teachers’ Education was established in 2020 for nurturing the culture of research among the teacher trainee (Educands) and teachers (Educators).Research work facilitates the Educationists, planners, administrators, scholars and other stakeholders to explore and recognize the emerging areas in terms of collaboration, reciprocal sharing of knowledge and innovative practices. In order to provide the faculty members and prospective students with the current practice and expertise in their respective fields, Rajendra academy for Teachers’ Education provides an ideal platform with the requisite resources in order to enrich and empower them.

Objectives of Research Cell:

The Research Cell of Rajendra Academy for Teachers’ Education considers academic research as an integral part of achieving excellence and quality. The prime objectives of this Research Cell are as follows,

  • To create multi level awareness and examine the opportunities in Research and Development among the trainee teachers and Faculty members.
  • To develop the interest and ambience of research in the College campus.
  • To encourage the Faculty members and students for publishing research articles, case studies in leading Journals.
  • To promote participation of Faculty members and deserving students in various seminars, conferences and workshops both at State level and International level.
  • To undertake the research activities and development projects offered by UGC, NCTE, ICSSR and other collaborating organizations.
  • To maintain and disseminate the current information about the relevant research areas and initiatives in Government, professions and in industries including the scope of funding.
  • To develop an action plan for fostering research collaborations with other Agencies or Institutions.
  • To collaborate with various departments for developing   research priorities through interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches.
  • To coordinate workshops on the contemporary fields of Education.

Main Activities of Research Cell:

  • Encouraging the Faculty members and students to take up research projects on the local, national and international issues.
  • Organizing Academic Writing, Poster Competition for enhancing the analytical skill of the Research Scholars.
  • Paper presentation session by the Research Scholars.
  • Conducting Action Research with the current practices.
  • Organizing seminars, conferences and workshops with the IQAC Cell in multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary areas.
  • Publication of Research Articles, Project work in leading Journals.
  • Undertaking consultancy work for quality assurance, industrial or allied fields of various organizations.
  • Innovative practices for creating value added to the society at large.
  • Encouraging the Faculty members for taking research initiatives through the incubation centers and collaboration with the organizations by Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU).
